The Roadmap

Each family has a unique dynamic. No matter if you’ve got the fusser, the whiner, the noodler, or the power-tripper– you’ve got to have a plan as to how to get them from birth to out the door at 18. That’s the big picture- and that’t what we call our family roadmap. It’s not important what’s on the map- it’s that you have one.

We’re building our roadmap based on the fact that I’m a recovering yeller, DH has sarcastic tendencies, DSM has a diva-temper, DST has a babyish voice that will not suit him in the real world and that DSN is a hot-tempered little guy who thinks he can get away with everything! Does that sound exactly like your family?

Of course not- you have your own issues, aka weeds, but you can use the same strategies, share the same perspective and take same proactive approach to parenting as thousands of parents–like me– who know Parenting on Track is a no-nonsense guide for raising capable, enthusiastic children who are ready for the world at 18.
